Living in the south is interesting.
I was shopping in Aldi one day with my cart filled full of mostly veggies and this tall and somewhat round guy in overalls stopped me and said, “Well honey you ain’t no bigger than a minute! That ain’t gonna fatten you up. How ’bout you and me take this here watermelon outside and break it open on a rock and eat the middle out!”
I guess that was his creative pick up line. I just laughed and politely declined.
I wonder if anyone has ever taken him up on that invitation.
Feels like summer is a bit early today. The high is about 95 degrees. I’m thankful for air conditioning and ice cold watermelon.
