Toddler Lessons For The Imagination

My blog may have been a bit silent for a few weeks. We have had a temporary situation of having our daughter-in-love and grandson staying with us so that we can look after them while she is dealing with the first trimester of pregnancy and major nausea. Dealing with that and taking care of an energetic two year old was a bit too much for her so they are staying with Dodi and Pa while dad works. Needless to say, our life looks a little different with them here.

Even though at first I was a bit stressed because my studio time was cut to almost non-existence, I’ve been embracing the wonder of seeing the world through his eyes. What an imagination he has! What curiosity!

His sharp eyes see every little detail that I may have missed as I briskly walk through my day with my mind on everything that I need to do. Tiny mushrooms become mouse umbrellas and acorn caps and a leaf set the table for a chipmunk’s breakfast.
