Creative Sparks

My recent class combined with my flea market finds have inspired some new pieces. The yellow turquoise set in a copper bezel is combined with some colorful beads for a summery look.

Stamps from my Richard Salley class have become earrings and also bracelets which are made with leather from a vintage satchel and vintage buckles. You can find these at Wall Candy Custom Framing and Gallery or Cliques Hair Salon in Columbia, TN or contact me directly.

My Favorite Colors

I don’t know what it is about turquoise and chartreuse. I keep gravitating toward these colors. They remind me so much of being at the ocean and of spring and summer, my favorite place and times of year. I’m picturing these on tan skin in the warm sunshine. They are made from my ceramic elements that I stamped with my hand carved stamps.

Looking Toward Spring

This is a necklace that was inspired by an ancient necklace that I saw when I was at the Israel Museum. I used very different materials of course, like torch fired enameled copper for the triangles. The original was made from gold and beads. It is amazing how intricate the jewelry was thousands of years ago.

Autumn Colors

Blazing colors are igniting enameling inspirations.

Check out my new fall designs at Clique’s Hair Salon in Columbia, TN or Heart and Hands on Main St. in Franklin, TN.

A Little Whimsey

I was feeling like I needed to have a little fun. All work and no play makes for ho hum studio time.

The central green bead was a gift from Steph.

Recycled tin working pinwheels. If you get bored, you can take these off and entertain yourself or your favorite small person.
